£4 a kilogram in our local Sainsburys, (I wouldn't care but they are growing less than a mile from where I live)

I bought an EXACT kg, shelled them and have less than 200g of actual peas

That makes the peas themselves over £20 a kg!!

Why do you need to buy fresh peas. The taste difference between fresh and frozen (unless you are eating them raw) is negliglbe and not worth the difference.

This is just out of order!!!!

I suggest you organise a go-slow on the M1 to protest at this shocking price! Only 200grams of pea's after you've taken them out of their 'shells' is just shocking!




On a serious note these have probably doubled in price in the last few months, like a lot of other things in the supermarket!

Peas are just rank regardless of fresh or frozen.


I am starting to notice the price of lots of things increase as well in the supermarket.
