Ebay - talking to other buyers.
Just thought I'd pass this on. In the light of not being able to leave -ve feedback, I was looking to buy something from an ebay shop but decided to find a few people who had bought the same product and send them a message asking them how they have found it and the service.
It was worth the effort as I got replies from 50% of the people and none of the flaming that you can get when you ask for opinions on forums - not this one obviously
. This is especially so when it comes to add-ons to your car which some people think is in bad taste or a waste of money...

And Ebay will start hiding users ID's just so you wont be able to do this in the future

It's a half ar5ed attempt by Feabay to encourage buyers, as during one of it's recent "Blue Sky" events it pondered the fact that without a strong buying force it would become unviable, so now you'll see that it's focused purely on the buyer and expect further "new" initiatives to follow suit!
I've has three people buy something off me and not pay/collect.... and I have to open a dispute thingy for each, wait X no. of days (as they never respond to them) before being credited back my fees ..... and I can do what? that's right ...... NOTHING!
Give me strength.....

When are Google going to have a shot at beating Ebay? They're trying near enough everything else so will auctions be next? Surely they're the most viable candidate for succeeding in getting a decent market share, and I bet they'd do it cheaper, fairer and betterer! Time for Gbay?!
