Plasma TV's (Pioneer) and Consoles
Tempted to finally buy a new TV. Have always fancied a Pioneer but at some point will pick up a next gen console. Are there any owners on here that can confirm that Pioneers run a PS3/Xbox with no problems?
Looking at the 42" PDP-4280XD if I can find one as looks like Pioneer are now stopping production of 42" panels which is a shame but means I need to get my skates on.
Whilst Im here does anyone know that the difference is between the 428 and 4280?

Identical panels but the 428 has better processing(intelligent colour management) although I couldn't see the difference between the two.
Also if you have money to burn the 428 can be ISF callibrated which i don't believe you can do on the 4280.
Personally i'd buy the 4280 as its cheaper and just as good.

I was going to get a Pioneer 428, but it has now stopped production. so i went for a Panasonic TH-42PZ800B, I sell the Pioneer screens and they are great but the panasonic does look as good, hopfully Pioneer will do another 42" for 10th gen the panel will be made by Panasonic but all the control will be Pioneer, there will be a 32 and a 37" LCD Pioneer later in the year.
