Anybody know what's going on?

My 2 favorite writers have left in quick succession. Richard Meaden & Jethro Bovingdon. They've followed Mr Chee out of the door.

Anyone know where they've gone to?

I wonder if they've left to start up a rival mag.

This months edition doesn't seem quite as good as it used to.

That explains the bizarre rant about digital "magazines" in last months issue. Or was that Top Gear?

It was all over the pistonheads forums, shame really as I don't enjoy on-line magazines half as much as having the real thing in my hands.
I like the video though, shame they're not full screen.

Me too. Find them hard to read. Much prefer a proper magazine to read.

Why do people think everything HAS to be digital.

Yeah, I've bought Evo Magazine from issue 1. Noticed names associated with the old "Performace Car" magazine. That was enough for me.

I bought the first issue of the new Performance Car, but didn't like the look of it. Large lettering, short features. Had a quick flick through the latest issue, and it's still the same. TBH when I noticed Meaden & Bovingdon had left Evo, I assumed they'd left to join Performance Car.

I can't see me getting into this new internet magazine much. Just hope Meaden & Bovingdon see sense and get their ***** back to Evo.

If Barker has now left Evo. That's 2 co-founders that will have left. Evo could be in trouble. That will be 3 of the best writers that have now left. TBH some of the others (Vivian for instance) I find hard to read. Their writing doesn't flow as much as meaden/Bovingdon's does. Catchpole seems to be the best writer now IMHO.
