Romantic but modern hotel in the south?
Hi All,
Looking to take my good lady away for a couple of days this weekend. Don't want to travel a million miles from London but would love to stay in a nice, modern, luxurious hotel - I'm thinking nice room, sunken double bath / jacuzzi, etc.
Ideally less than £300 a night
Anybody got any ideas? Will look at Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Down into Dorset at a push?

Get a suite at the Crazy Bear at Stadhampton, nr Oxford. Stupendous rooms (infinity baths that fill from the ceiling at the end of the bed.) with an excellent choice of either English and Thai restaurants. It's only 30 mins away for me, but so good we always stay
