Question

Much as the subject says, any of you lot work for News International (The Sun newspaper and others) specically at the Wapping site?

odd question I know, but I'm curious

Not directly.... We built their SMS system for them though. One of our team has been on site since November.

No probs. They seem to have an unhealthy regard for NT servers down there, so I try and avoid going ....

I worked for them for 2 years about 3 years ago. Doing NT, Mac and production support.
Feckin great place to work - I loved it
Still have contacts.

did they happen to use MacAdministrator (by Hi Resolution) to control the macintosh computers??

Are you flogging the aforementioned product?
Not sure they would use it. The macs have pretty specific purposes - so we just made images (sort of) for each department. The NT business stuff was pretty well locked down, but the mac stuff is more individual.
The Mac problems were are either sh1tty system software problems, hence re-install or weird graphics / production type stuff. Either way it generally required a visit.

I'm not flogging it, just wondering if they used it as a few newspapers I know of use it to control the macs
