Hi all,
I am with btInternet as my ISP, when I signed up last year the connections seemed quite good, everything seemed fine - we were all paying for it so it SHOULD be!!
Over the past 5 weeks I have major problems connecting, drop-outs all the time, it seems to disconnect me every hour now - it WAS 2 hours!! simply put - I think it is COMPLETE SH1TE!!!
Is it me or them?
Any other ISP that is better? has Freeserve now sorted their access problems??
Pete

Assuming you have a dialup account, try Jolt Anytime. £11.75 a month, and straight into the Nildram infrastructure. More or less perfect for gaming.

They have become pretty poor over the last month with lots of dropped connections and trouble connecting. Were fine before that so hopefully its just temporary.

Pete, you weren't transferred to "a new number" were you?
I was a while back, and this number is terrible. Was on watchdog a while back that they're trying to get all their high usage customers to upgrade to broadband by forcing them onto a really terrible service.
Its alright though, they're getting sued (sp?) for being called Anytime when you can hardly ever get on!!!!

No I have the original number - I also heard that the heavy users were being moved to a cr4p number so that they couldnt get on ever - surely thats immoral, anytime should mean anytime - not Anytime if you dont use it anytime!!!
Freeserve shook the world a few years back - we need something like that again - so we can all tell BT where to get off!!
Pete
thanks BuRR for the info
