Hi everyone, getting over the jetlag now so found some time to upload my pictures from the No Alibi Rally. Subie Gal and I competed together, 600 miles in 2 days through the backroads of Washington State.
I hope you enjoy them half as much i did taking them
Stunning Washington State scenery
What this is all about, having fun and enjoying a driving challenge
The hillclimb stage. We were one of the few to Zero. Exposure, what exposure?
One of the many long road sections
Follow the big stick and you wont go far wrong
Back home in one piece, dust, what dust?
Thanks again Jamie for putting up with a Brit telling you what to do for 2 days.
I had a lot of fun.

And the car's not looking too bad either
John, did you have that pencil behind your ear on the 2nd last pic?
I'm sooooooo jealous. My m8 landed a cushy Job with Microsoft in seattle. Looks like I'll need to pester him some more for a holiday and enjoy some of that scenery/weather first hand.

Not so sure on the Novel.
I just held the camera out of the window, didnt know the pencil was in view, makes a fun picture.
Go see Seattle and the PNW, it's a great place to visit. I forgot to mention, we finished 6th overall, would have been higher without some minor probs with the timing system.

John,
Great pics. looks like a great place to rally too (not fair).
Timing system problems ? That'll be the bodge tape holding it down that caused that. But hey, car prep. was the drivers responsibility so you can blame her ?
Cheers
Ian
P.S. See you Sunday ?

Nah, it was down to me Ian. The laptop we used was losing time during the day, crap clock so although we were spot on acording to the timing system, we were actually running a few seconds late on the road. On events like this that is enough to drop you from a top 3 placing to 6th, sucks ***.
As soon as i realised the problem we were setting 0's all the way, we could have won it, certainly top 3. Damn frustrating.
Still, it was a lot of fun, Jamie was using every turn to practice her slides so we had plenty of giggles, not really the way to win a TSD rally as the wheelspin screws the laptop up too, but i am glad she did that because it was a right laugh.
Yep, see you at MIRA in the morning.

Nice pictures of what appears to be a nice place, in a nice car with a nice looking lady.
