Default Incident A27 eastbound this evening, Scooby to the rescue

Just coming back from dropping my eldest home, and as i approached the petrol station on the north side of the A27 two cars were pulling out of the petrol station , so i indicated and pulled into the outside lane..

Then the road ahead erupted into a huge cloud of thick smoke, which almost blocked the whole carriageway As you can appreciate approaching a huge cloud of smoke at the NSL isn't a good idea, so i,m heaving on the brakes, hazards going, hoping.

A) The car behind me has the foresight to realise whats going on, and will pull back or slowdown in case i have to brake to a halt.

B) Their is nothing blocking the carriageway in the cloud, and i,m not going to T bone a stationary car..

Luckily the smoke was clearing slightly as i reached the point of the incident.

All i could see was a Classic Scoob pulling over, and an omega, (green) pulled over on the side of the road with white smoke billowing out from the engine and underside. I don't know if the two had collided, or what

It wasn't prudent to stop, with the reduced visibility, and the fact others were
starting to stop as well, this had the potential to get worse ..

I hope the driver of the Omega was OK likewise the scooby driver

Saw this the other night also coming down the M1, just past the services, all 6 lanes no visibility at all, and a Laguna at the road side, bonnet up, engine still running !!!! Numpty.

Needless to say, clearly a misfueling.
Called the emergency services just incase.

Speaking of which, anyone see the variety of prices manufacturers charge for a misfueling incident.

Skoda is lowest at £150 odd and Chrysler Grand Voyager comes in at...... £5k !!!
