You can't help smiling at those incidents of course, I suppose it depends on the effect on the victim and whether he was hurt really.
Its a German word of course and they seem to have cornered the market as far as that is concerned.
My friend once accidentally crashed into a road barrier at 3 in the morning once in Germany, and within ten minutes the area was two deep in spectators!
