Default Dry every night; rain every day. Why?

Anyone else noticed this weather pattern? Rubbish isn't it? Only one thing is more certain: it will always rain just a few minutes after I've washed the car. The UN could pay to send me and the Scoob on special missions to drought-ravaged areas of the globe. The moment after I've just wrung out my chamois leather for the last time and stepped back to admire a job well done, the rains would miraculously return.

Not here it isnt, raining every single night, sitting in bed listening to the rain beat on the window is one of the most relaxing things ever IMO. The days here have been sunny, everyday since Friday (Lincolnshire btw)

This summer is shaping up to be as 'enjoyable' as last summer. Hope you don't live on a flood plain

Less global warming at night 'cos the sun's gone in........

Plus as you say washing the car is a guaranteed method of bringing rain. Please wash your car at night in future

Other methods of bringing rain include, but are not limited to:-

Planning a B-B-Q

Planning to cut the grass

Serious rain and thunder is often brought on by planning roof repairs..... dl

I've been trying to re-seed bald patches in my lawn. Every single time I step out of the door, the heavens open

Whereabouts in Lincolnshire, Dave? I'm about as far north as Lincolnshire goes, and we've had the dry nights/wet days pattern here
