Default alarm pir for dogs

hi

looking at getting a dog , but need to change the alarm pir to pet friendly ones, but have been told that they are not very good

has anyone got any of these fitted , and are they any good or not???

Most pet dt's are good now we have fitted quite a few now and touch wood no problems...

is there a certain brand to go for ...

also alarm bloke has quoted 45 all in , does these seem about right

Go for Texecom Petwise.Use alot of their stuff and very seldom have problems,as for the quote of £45 how many PIRs is that for?.

45 is just for supplying one pir and fitting it

Fit them and move around on your hands and knees and they dont pick you up, = alarm doesn't go off

I have a Pet PIR in my conservatory, works spot on, the dog can walk round and it is fine

These are quite clever bits of kit,they allow animal immunity of upto 80lbs(35kg) so roughly 1 Labrador or 7 cats.
Hands and knees crawling wouldnt work due to the clever lens fitted in these and intruder confirmation circutry.
