People exaggerating
I know these threads have been done before in various guises but couldn't resist after earlier today...
My neighbour followed me home earlier in his Volvo V70.
He pulled up outside my house and started chatting. He mentioned his Volvo was the T5 model and pretty nippy (despite the 2.4 badge on the back and lack of sporty components )
Whilst I listened he then went on about the Trans Am in his garage (the knight Rider model). Whilst I know he has this because I've often seen it parked up in his garage, he never takes it out. Here's the funny bit...
He said it's an absolute beast as it has 680bhp...... "and that's at the wheels". "It used to have 850 but I've detuned it. It quite easily keeps up with 1100cc motorcycles. You should see the carbs, they're that big". (hands apart roughly indicating the size of a showbox)
Due to the obvious Volvo "error" should I believe the figures of his Trans Am
Nick
PS this is meant as a light hearted thread in case anybody reads into it too seriously.
