Wish it was just you.
Probably sounds a bit naff talking about RC racing but when I'm leading a race or have the best times in my heat, I shake like I've necked half a dozen Es
And not them ***** ones you get these days, the proper "put you on the floor" jobs of the early 90s!

Sometimes get it when nerves hit me in the middle of a band performance, often just before a big guitar solo. The fingers go a bit wobbly and my brain seems curiously detached from the rest of my body. Sometimes I've practised enough for my back-brain to get me through it while my mind watches - kind of like an out-of-body experience. But other times it all collapses and I have a horrendous "Les Dawson" discordant experience instead. Like when I choked in the middle of the solo to "Another Nail In My Heart" by Squeeze, in front of around three thousand people. :scarred for life:

reason I posted this was I was going to knock a neighbours boyfriend out and I was fuming from the response she gave me (the fookin ****) and then his attitude.
I had just done my workout so I was sweating like mad and pumped anyway and the mrs asked me to go round for some details and when they spoke to me I just lost it!!
What it was, last friday, the neighbours boyfriend drove into the back of my wifes car, smashing a rear light and putting a nice dent in the quarter panel. They knocked on the door and because they didnt get a response immediately they just left it. (we live in a 3 storey house and the front door is downstairs and the main living area is on the middle floor, wife is also heavily pregnant so not the most nimble at present - neighbour aware of this)
They didnt say anything, and a few days later the mrs went somewhere and her father noticed the smashed light. This coincided with the neighbours boyfriend parking his van elsewhwere. When she rang to let me know, I checked outside and there was broken glass from the light, so I walked to where his vehicle was and it was smashed in, so I went round the house and he admitted it and promised to get me his insurance details later that day or the next day. 5 days passed and nothing, didnt even see him around (no van parked anywhere) until today so I went to get the details.
She was a snotty bitch saying we will post them later, he has just got in (he had been there for at least 40 mins) so I said they are lucky we didnt report it to the police as a accident and drive away, also said my wifes insurance have the vehicle details etc and if they didnt have insurance details by the end of this week they would transfer it to their legal dept. 10 mins later he pops round with mega attitude saying he hasnt been home to get them (he was going last saturday to get them) but he at least gave me his name/address/and details. Then had the cheek to say I had an attitude problem
Wouldnt mind but I nearly knocked him out on saturday when I had to ask if he had hit the mrs car, it was only because the door opened and I couldnt see anyone that he is still standing. Had to refocus my eyes as he is about 4ft 5 tall.

I used to get an adrenalin rush when I was kicking ***** out of the pub. I was normally out numbered but I always stood my ground and talked them out of the door.
And it was a good excuse for a beer afterwards, just to calm down.

Hell yeah After a good blat around, even in the Cooper S in shakin like I got a few thousand volts going through me.
Always feels like I have held my breath for the last 10 mins.
As for being in challenging situation, yup same ere. A min or 2 later im all over the place, but usually hold it together for the moment.

i wouldnt say i shake when the adrenaline hits, usually just get a little emotional, light headed/watered eyes etc.
most recent case was whaen i helped out that guy who had been knocked over.
all buzzing and alert while helping him, but had a sob too myself after it all finished and i was alone. it did make me feel one of two things though...
very alive
a little "wimpish" for crying

I think you are better not knocking him out, any sympathy you may have with the Police will evaporate when the crime goes from them driving off after a (minor) bump to a full on assault.
I get it when I line up at the lights next to something obviously up for a quick drag race.

I said my reasons for the shakes would be naf.
Everyone else talks of working out or knocking someone out, I talk about piloting little cars round a little track.
The shame

Probably sounds a bit naff talking about RC racing but when I'm leading a race or have the best times in my heat, I shake like I've necked half a dozen Es
And not them ***** ones you get these days, the proper "put you on the floor" jobs of the early 90s!

Usually after a dishing out agood old knuckle sandwich to somebody
Although i did do it once due to nerves, i was secretly added to a dj comp without being told and made the finals, which were judged in a club
after aproaching the decks and smirking at the chap infront of me shaking like a leaf, i stepped up, and started wobbling
good job the crowd could not see over the ledge i can tell you
