Default Learn to play drums!?

Just treated myself to a Roland HD-1 kit (Official UK Roland HD-1 V-Drums Lite website) as a 30th birthday present to myself .. and now i'm looking for a good dvd, that'll cover everything from 1/4 beats to paradiddles etc. and is suitable for beginners! ... but, there's so many to choose from!!!

Any recommendations gratefully received

Cheers

Bradders

Wink

Just don't do it, having known plenty of drummers in my time, below sums them up :

• How do you tell if the stage is level?
The drummer is drooling from both sides of his mouth.

• How can you tell a drummer's at the door?
The knocking speeds up.

• What do you call a drummer that breaks up with his girlfriend?
Homeless.

• How can you tell when a drummer's at the door?
He doesn't know when to come in

• How many drummers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Five: One to screw the bulb in, and four to talk about how much better
Neil Peart coulda done it.

• How many drummers does it take to change a light bulb?
None, they have a machine to do that now.

• What does a drummer use for contraception?
His personality.

• What do you call someone who hangs around with musicians?
A drummer.

• How is a drum solo like a sneeze?
You can tell it's coming, but you can't do anything about it.

It's very reasonabl priced and quite easy to find on the 'net!

It's Roland's 'entry level' kit.
