If you saw a reg plate on a mota ie XX08 TCM and it wasn't messed with in any way how many would think the end of the plate looks like TOM ?

 

Hmmm.... viewing it on DVLA with the actual font it does look a bit like TOM, however you'd probably only get it if you knew the person was called Tom.

If you know what car it's going on you can try it out on that site.

However if it was XX08 TOM it probably would look like TOM
