Default New Parking Rules

Councils no longer allowed to set targets for the number of tickets issued.

Generally seems to be a positive move forward.

Yep they don't need to set targets anymore because they're legally allowed to pop a fine through the post without going anywhere near your car. Down to you now to prove yourself innocent.
Real positive move forward

Target removal = Good

Fines through post = Bad.

Basically - It will pay you to hold on to any pay and display ticket you have - for a few weeks at least.

It'll also mean that there'll be the same systems throughout the country and the money raised from any fines will go towards the motorist - ie it'll be spent on roads maintenance, the enforcement system or street lighting."
What like the road fund license, fuel duty etc etc does?

Once more the government is perverting the cause, and cource of justice in this country

Yet another instance where we will now be required to prove our innocence, rather than the authorities being required to prove (beyond reasonable doubt ) guilt

And who exactly will be paying for all this to be implemented
