I have another rise in my car tax again. Just over a year ago, I think I was paying £265 for 12 months, its now £400

Of course it is: everyone knows that 2.5% of £265 is £135...............oh, hold on, something doesn't add up.
I know, let's ensure that road tax is not in the basket, along with everything else we have to pay
