Default Top Gear - Sport Relief

The one where they did Steve Redgrave's garden

That was really really bad. Maybe they should have spent a little more, and tried a little less to be funny....so bad

Made me chuckle, even though it was inevitable what was going to happen next

bah, you lot are too easily pleased. It was just farrrrr to badly staged

The only funny bit was when James made sure it was after the watershead, and they cut just as he was laying into Clarkson. The rest was pants

It was a bit of fun, and for charity. I had a laugh watching it. Yes it was far fetched, but I guess it was most likely meant to be.

Agreed it was amusing, but as above way over the top. Can't help but wonder how much it all cost. A an ex-landscaper even assuming the companys who got plugs (Minimix/Wyvale/Terranova/Cat etc) donated their machines and time etc.
You would struggle to get change from £100k to put that lot right again.

£100k I'm in the wrong business

Skips, jack hammers to break up the concrete, some turf. A little bit of clearup and its job done.

Forget about how much it cost to put on that far too staged bit, just how much will it cost to put all of that right once the filming was over?!

Yeah, all a bit too overdone for my liking.

I did laugh out loud early on, when Hamster drove the digger into that hole!

Was a bit OTT but still some funny bits like Jezza shooting the weeds and Mays shed with a shotgun lol. My girlfriend did comment about how much that lot cost and surely it would have been better to send £100k straight to charity.
