Im totally out of touch with mobile phones, and am eligible for an upgrade with T mobile.....

Ive no real idea which are the phones to have, and even the seemingly good ones seem to get mixed reviews...

I have the following shortlist and am open to other suggestions:

Nokia n95 (black).....might be a bit too loaded for my simple self.,....

Samsung G600...I like samsungs,but this doesnt look nearly as advanced as the n95...

Nokia 6300....a bit of a budget phone, but seems to get good reviews..

I bascially need a good reliable, robust phone, that will not date too quickly, as I have had to wait 2 years for this free upgrade!!

Ive got the 6300, nice, simple, robust- stainless steel case. I fitted mine with a 2Gb memory card.

Then got a contract N73 Piece of ****.

Buttons too small, making mistakes easy and frustrations much bigger.

Hate it but being in a contract, cant do much about it.

what ever you do dont get the n95 bag oh s**te ive just had a right todo with voda regarding 2 of these so much so that i was prepared to go to court over it and for me thats a big deal! suffice to say they finally sorted me out ive got a nokia 65oo nice small phone not too many gadgets! after all its primary function is supposed to be to make and receive calls and after an experience like the one ive just had it kind of re-iterated that to me..

I have a Nokia N73, great phone albeit with slow U/I. Never had an issue with it, got 64 times more RAM than my first mainframe LOL, enough room to put almost all of my pictures from my last two holidays. I find it OK to use even with my big hands.

I would suggest anything Nokia, the 6500 Classic looks like a good handset, but not seen one too close up.

w960i is a blinding piece of kit. full touch screen, aweseom walkman. very clear phone speaker/reciever too.

Ive got an n95 and very underwhelmed by it, should have stuck to a more basic phone, sure it can browse the web anywhere using 3g or wifi but do you really want to be typing in urls using its keypad??? Ive got a fring on it (msn/skype client) but again not much use. Im going to hold out now for a 3g iphone.

if you want reliable, then imo dont go for nokia or motorola

The Sony Ericsson range are good (and reliable in my experience), also the LG Viewty is quite a novel phone that is simple to use as a basic phone (but it can also be as complicated as you make it)

You can get themes for them now, and i have an iphone one that looks better than an iphone, and the ku990 has 3g and mms which the iphone doesnt!
