Two Ronnies I thought were very versatile and funny and like M&W stood the test of time.

The thing is, comedy duos are a thing of the past now, so I think there are very funny people out there, but just not in double acts anymore.

The two Ronnies were very funny too and Basil Fawlty and Sybil were a very good pair in a different way.

I do place Morecambe and Wise right at the top however for sheer comedic ablity.

One of the good ways to judge just just how good comedians are is to see whether they can make the audience laugh without having to resort to obscene language or "lavatorial humour".

And the house building one too, one of my faves

I actually prefer the original silent versions to a lot of the later ones

I have quite a lot of them on DVD too

In 'Way Out West', where Stan is being chased around the bedroom by the woman who's after the document, and he's helpless with giggling!
