Heinz Tomato soup
Couldn't be arsed to cook myself any proper food tonight what with the wife away.
Had a dig around the cupboard and found 2 tins of HTS.
Blimey, I'd forgotten how nice it really is
I managed both tins but I think it was half a tin too much.
Still nice though.

Must say when I feel a bit low a nice bowl of Campbell's Condensed Chicken Soup always, always works. Mmmmmm....
Tomato soup I haven't had for more than 20 years but this thread could change that

Only one soup better than HTS and that was when they did it with herbs for a short while years ago. I have fresh soups at work from the staff restaurant that are supposed to be healthy as well as tasty and they are not even close to touching HTS.

All those who have mentioned different flavours and/or brands have got it totally wrong.
At the appropriate moment nothing hits the spot (or for the price!) like a tin of Heinz Tomato Soup, of and of course the tin has to be as large as possible. It should be served with fresh crysty bread, but not esential.
Other soups might be nice, but they just don't have that certain something. Strange really as HTS doesn;t taste of tomatos!

Microwaved soup tastes the same to me.
Tomato soup must be eaten with 2 slices of bread already torn up in the bowl and with the soup poured over it.Sublime isn't the word.
My most preferred soup is however,Campbells chicken soup with buttered toast.Ideal cold/comfort food.
I have just realised that I have been on here almost 3 and a half years and only posted 100 times :O

Heinz tomato soup is always in my kitchen and has it's place but does not beat home made soup like lentil and bacon, pea and ham or mushroom.
It's so easy to make, it's suprising when I take it into work the people who don't even know how to make soup.

I love it, but do for some reason tire of it very quickly
It is superb for the first half a bowl, but then i seem to get bored of it, maybe im just a bit weird
As someone else said before, i also love pea and ham soup too
Dam it, im off for a peek in the kitchen cupboard now, but i dont thionk we have any HTS in
Home made soups are the shizzle
