Really quick question about Economy 7/storage heaters
During the peak/non economy hours will they be receiving any electricity at all?
There is zero voltage coming from the meter to the separate fuse box for the heaters, will this switch on at night?
Sorry for posting in NSR, but need a quick conformation.

With a second (economy) output on your meter the output will switch live during off-peak hours only and the storage heaters usually have one control to set their 'charge' and another to determine how quickly you want the heat out after chargeing. I have hardwired a single heater into a ring main but then a timer is required as the supply is always live (no off-peak only supply available).
