They used to go down Reddish Vale (apparently) until an old aquaintance got murdered down there and now the police stepped in and stopped it.

A little storey re '*******'

A mate of mine took a girl out for a drive (romantic sort he is) and they ended up in a small carpark near the Wizard in Alderley Edge.

For those that don't know, Alderley Edge is a spookey sort of place that has a reputaion for scarey occurences and it is situated on the outskirts of Cheshire and quite countryfied.

Well my mate and his lass were having a cuddle in his car and it was late at night and very dark and desolate.
A car pulled into the car park and drove up along side him but he couldn't see who was inside the car. As you can imagine he became slightly uneasy (zipping up his fly) and began to straighten up his seat. As he stared into the darkness at the car next to him, suddenly he saw the interior light come on and the lone dark figure inside bending slightly down. My mate stared hard as the occupant turned around to face him and my mate shat himself when the figure turned to him and was wearing one of those scream type masks. The axe murderer then opened his door and began to get out.

My mate started his car, revving the **** off it, slammed it into reverse and off he went towards the exit, almost smashing into the wooden fencing. As he did so he saw the headlamps of the car illuminating the car park obviously after him.
Well he didn't stick to the speed limit, and turned off his lights to assist in his getaway. He soon reached street lighting and signs off life and caught his breath. By this time his bird had stopped screaming.

He often tells the storey and wonders what was this geezer up to.

Anyway a good location is a carpark near to the Wizard pub in Alderley Edge.

I recall once when I was 18, going to the first car park on the Upholland side of Ashurst Beacon with my lady.
After we had cuddled, we dressed and sat there having a drink / smoke and tasty savoury snack...
Looking out over the fields, we saw two characters running about in the dark - all suspicious like, so put the main beams on and they seemed to dissapear into the undergrowth...
A few minutes later a car comes into the car park and pulls alongside us and my lady, ducks and hides putting her head on my lap...
The car stops side by side with mine, I grab the iron bar at my side and look over and it's a car full of my mates asking me what I am doing there...
Suddenly the ladys head pops up and they're like "aye aye whats she doing down there?"
"Having a monster munch" she immediately replied, wiping her mouth (and hiding the crisp bag)

We left them to smoke their spliffs in peace, laughing all the way home

A damp cloth with a touch of fairy liquid used to do the trick
