The GTR looked great, wasn't a fan until last night.

According to another thread he does have one for himself, but it's not for sale.
Maybe something to do with the news in this months Jap Performance that Nissan UK have sent out letters to importers threatning them with legal action if they try to sell them outwith the UK dealer network.

Surely if you buy a car abroad, you can sell it to who you want for what you want, providing you pay all the taxes. They would effectively be second hand cars though.

Not sure how relevant it is but apparently in Australia some company has managed to get the vehicle approved for import with the government, so some people are obviously planning to import them over there. Shouldn't be any different in the UK.

Yeah, what a motor, Middlehurst is where my deposit lies for the Spev V edition although if you are ordering now then don't be expecting to get one before sept 09 to be fair.
Imports are available, however there is no model report to register on UK roads, Nissan will not provide any parts or servicing should you need them to so they are withdrawing all manufacturer support on grey imports. Also the satnav is in Japanese and the Speed limiter will be imposed, shame to have a 197mph vehicle restrained to 118mph
and £60k imported is a lot of money to have no support when it'll cost the same when released in the UK with full dealer support
