Talking 5'8" Floyd Mayweather breaks 7'2" wrestlers nose

I know wrestling is a fake sport, but this video clip had me in stitches when I watched it last night. Supposedly The Big Show, all 28st of him, is p!$$ed at the masked guy and Mayweather gets upset at the way he treats his friend, squaring up to the goliath. The big guy laughs it off and kneels down to give the tiny boxer a fair shot. BIG MISTAKE !

ENJOY - YouTube clip

I know it's probably all staged, and that it's more than likely leading up to some big money promo bout like Balboa vs Hogan in Rocky III, but it is still funny

I wonder if it was staged, but it wasn't supposed to go quite that far. Maybe Floyd was supposed to clip him a couple of times, not break his nose good'n'proper

Against a 7'2" 28st professional fighter, anyone would leg it given the chance. With a ref imposing MoQ rules and a clear ring Floyd's skills may have stood a chance, but in an uncontrolled situation like that, if the big guy got a hold of him he'd snap him like a twig.

The Big Show (Paul Kaye) has actually trimmed down quite a bit. This guy is also quite big!

Id have him a little jib jab here and there, a few thwacks and a good measure of float like a butter fly and sting like a marsh mellow should do the trick

I saw it this morning when I was in the gym, was hilarious but they showed you a slow mo of mayweather punching him, and it was most definitely real, his head spun! plus his nose was crooked as **** afterwards.

Then he came back and got back in the ring to say he accepted his request to fight him.

So staged but awesome at the same time.

What a load of cr*p.

I have no doubt Mayweather did hit him (even if he wasn't supposed to) but how anyone can watch wrestling is beyond me. It's shockingly rubbish.

Every fight staged. What's the point?

All it proves (if it wasn't staged) is that the boxer is dumb as ****. Doesn't he realise that wrestling isn't "real"

Yes, of course it's all staged Paul and Floyd, spoke before the encounter to set up the angle and -allegedly- Paul said to Floyd: "look, if we're going to set up this angle properly, you're gonna have to hit me, not just a fake punch!" Floyd apparently just landed one probably harder (whether it was accidental/deliberate I don't know) than Paul wanted, and the broken nose resulted.

I do know one thing. I wouldn't do anything deliberately to **** someone of that size off, regardless of how tasty I was with my fists, I'd be too concerned about him having an "accident of his own" in the payback fight.

I dare say he bought him a beer or two after the incident!

Injuries are par for the course for both boxers and wrestlers; the latter are pretty much always injured to some degree (that's why pain killer abuse is so common) it may be scripted etc... but blimey do their bodies take some punishment!

RIGHT LETS GET IT STRAIGHT
he didnt break his nose
look at it carefully
he pulled a silly little range finding right punch
as a boxer he hit him with absolute minimum force
total joke and im amazed why its a big deal
