10 firemen and the 41st sponger
A crew of 10 firemen were called out four times in one week to lift a 41-stone man in his "own"(council flat) home.
This is a classic time wasting exercise for our emergency services.
'Firemen's lift is not for a 41-stone man' - Telegraph
Fat Idiot said: "My weight isn't something I like to discuss. It comes up in every conversation I have. I am tired of talking about it."
Mr Marsden, 40, who is unemployed and spends much of his day in bed, said he did not understand "what the fuss was about".
Oh the joys of reading about the people we support, people who pay the least always cost the most and think we owe them.
selfish bloata added: "The firemen came here and got on with their job, and once they were finished they went on to their next job. Sometimes I slide to the floor in my living room, and it's hard to get back up."
I say cut him up next time so his carer can shift him easily.

If there was another job to do, then I would agree with your sentiments.
But, if the Firemen are waiting around for something to do, then why not help a fatman off the floor?
I don't see the problem, I would rather they did something to gain experience than sit around the PlayStation.

Personally i'd rather they were sat in the station ready to come and cut me out of a car if need be, or put the fire out in anyones house, not just mine....... being ready to do anything to do with saving life is better than helping some fat bloke who could and should lose weight!

If people stopped bringing him food he would have to loose weight.
When you get to that state, the carers are probably doing more harm than good.
If he wants a burger he can walk to the shop and buy it himself

I agree wholeheartedly with that. He should be on a strict diet. If the carers are bringing him so much food that he is maintained in his current condition they are contributing to shortening his life.
