Kingdom of God - anyone watch it?
First time for me and i thought it pretty good, Ridley Scott really is a directing god
good cast, great locations and effects, not a sxf fest or did not appear to be anyway
Was not that familair with the crusades, never really covered it in history at school.

I've seen it before and watched it again last night. I must admit at first glance I didnt like the film that much, however the more I seem to watch it the more I like it.

Great film, especially the Directors Cut which adds a lot to the character development and deepens the story. Definitely a grower of a film as I found it a little dull at the cinema, but the DC improved it vastly.

for the pedants
spotted the mistake in the title as i posted, tried to edit it but it kept timing out before the page reloaded, got bored after 15 mins of retrying and went out the X-cape MK sledging with my eldest

awesome film lads and well made, he gave a balanced approach
i wish we had seen mair of richard the lionheart, saladdin and richard were awesome warriors and had so much mutual respect for each other and as saladdin had respect for christians so did richard and some say at the end his heart woz closer tae islam , but being the king of england and defender of the faith that woz a no go area
u know when saladdin died he had a muslim tomb but the christians also in his memory and homage had made him a special tomb next tae him, very good
i luv saladdin that time their woz no nationalism among muslims, arabs, turks, africans or kurds, just muslims, did u know saladdin woz fae a kurdish background and he lead the muslims, awesome lad
