Question Hamilton watches, any good?

Saw this one in a shop today & fell for it big time:

Hamilton Khaki Aviation Air Race Steel Black and Orange Mens Watch H77665873

I've never heard of Hamilton though so unsure whether to buy or not seeing as it was about £600!

Hamilton are just finding their feet in the UK and you can see their range at Selfridges and larger Debenhams if my memory serves me correctly.

They are, as I believe it well made and use ETA movements or Valjoux 7750's in their chronos so well respected, tried and trusted movements.

In terms of comparative products you are probably looking at Tissot / low end Oris models as a comparission. I wouldn't pay £600 for one but then everyones different.

I frequent a watch forum and thus far everything regarding Hamilton build quality and reliability has been positive from thise who have tried them.

Regards

GB

Its amazing just how personal taste differs so much when it comes to watches.

I'd agree with ScoobLou, but that matters not. I'd still never pay that much for a watch though

Its good that we don't all like the same things if not what a boring world we would live in.

That orange thing looks horrendous - your drawing attention to a watch no one has ever heard of....and its not like its a patek where you can smile smugly.....its half the price of every IT geeks favourite Tag.

Cant see what it offers. Doesn't look like a nice bit of jewelry, doesn't say money, no ones heard of it.

YOu might as well get a G Shock!

It matches the colour of this site well, all it needs is the Scoobynet logo across the face

Don't like the look of that at all.

If you want an orange faced watch, Breitling do a quite nice `Super ocean`. Black strap with orange face.

Looked at one myself. £1450 though
Bought a Navitimer World instead.
