over the last few weeks my lorry and crane (nothing to do with recovery),
has been utilised to pull a 4 by four jeep out of a ditch, guy saw the grassy area and thought it would be fun to drive onto it, by a tea bar, completely failing to see the ditch and going front end in. ffs.

then yesterday get asked for help by a recovery driver, a car has gone straight into some pipe renewal ditches ( on pavement) and was resting on 3 sets of fibre optic cable, recovery were worried if they pulled it off they would damage cables ( costing a hell of a lot for someone to repair). police said to me mate dont care how you do it, please get it out of that bloody ditch.

craned and out in 2 minutes, and not a drink in sight for us.

please mind the ditches i have enough to do already.

that also applies to the **** who lost part of his load, and had no crane. and had not checked his straps. you could have killed someone. lucky for you i was passing or you licence was history. ****.

Can't believe that you can get them out of all that trouble and they can't bring themselves to offer any thanks or show their appreciation. If nothing else its just down to a bit of good manners!
