7.5t truck hire, one way from Scotland to South England
Looking through the net to try and find some hire companies that offer truck hire one way.
I need a 7.5t lorry to move house from Scotland to Somerset.
Dont want to have to return the lorry all the way back to Scotland due to time and fuel.
Anyone got any recomendations??
Managed to find a luton van that I can collect in Stirling and drop off at Bristol airport for £109 for two days hire. Thought it was very good.
Removal companies want £2000 plus VAT to move us down.
I wouldnt say I was tight but I aint a mug either!!!
A 7.5t and a lutton will do it no probs.
Like I say, just need to sort out the truck hire
Thanks
Jamie

J. Most rental companies wont give out 7.5tonners unless u have an Operators License. Maybe worth speaking to arnold clark for clarification.

S, had them on hire before for local work and didnt need the operators license.
Making calls tomorrow to find out who will do one ways. If not I can get one from Bristol for £270 and thats a 3 day hire. Just the required driveing category required, which I have due to being an old git. LOL
