Default Clinton, Obama or McCain?

As it looks like being one of these 3, who would you prefer?

In terms of a unifying force, my money would be on Barack Obama because he has enough credibility to actually do some good, however, the American public are even more useless at electing decent political leaders than the British so no doubt they'll get sucked in by Hilary Clinton's bid to become the first American female President.

Not quite sure how legitimate Obama's claims of being black are though. Seems a bit odd - a bit like Lewis Hamilton.

He claims to be one third black, how exactly does that work, was his mum dicked by two blokes at the same time when she conceived?

Not too sure who will win, i think Hills will get it, not too sure of that is a good or bad thing.

Any yanks care to comment

My choice would probably be Obama, Hilary Clinton strikes me as being a little false and McCain is basically another Republican maniac like Bush.

Whichever one can make their own decisions without having to ask god first would get my vote.

Pete, I wouldn't describe McCain in this way. He's a very different kind of Republican, he must be I like him!

Have you seen Obamas wife? - Scary woman.
Wouldn't put Clinton in charge of washing my car let alone a country.
Don't know anything about McCain so my vote would go to him

Martin - McCain/McCann.
==========

I am sure Hilary is a sweet woman. It's just that she makes me cringe

There seems so little comment about the main issue which is will it be Republicans or Democrats to win. I assume it will be Democrats because Bush seems have screwed up big time?

I don't think USA will vote en masse for a black candidate for many years so I'm afraid it will be Hilary dl

I don't think someone's race/sex should be an issue and I actually think it's to the candidates' detriment if they play that card. Just because the USA have never had a black/woman president, doesn't mean they should! It should be the vision and policies that determine success or otherwise.

Here's an idea, the USA have never had a British president.

Vote Ns04 people!!

I rather hope it's Clinton; I just don't trust Obama......there is something a bit, dare I say it, Tony Blair about him.

PS Hilary: suggestion for your campagin slogan

"Bout time we had some REAL Bush in the Whitehouse!

If Obama wins the Democrat nomination, the Republicans could even put Cheney or Rumsfeld up and they'd win

Because despite what all those liberal hippy pinkos infesting both coasts would have you believe, there is no way that them decent, righteous, christian white folks that populate the rest of the country are ever going to let a ni99er be the leader of their country

Clinton stands more of a chance, because as the other night demonstrated, Americans are suckers for a well orchestrated TV moment Plus all those millions of women in Middle America will vote for her just to p!ss their husbands off

This is partially why I want Obama to win. Aside from me beleiveing him to be the best candidate on policy, I would also love to see the Mid West and southern states have to bow to a black president.

I can see it now:

Obama: 'Bow down boys, I wanna see them red necks glinting in the sun'

You underestimate the utter hatred they have for Hilary & Bill in those parts, to them they are the Anti-Christ.

Obama could win this, the Christian Right doesn't look like having a candidate this time around, so they'll probably stay at home

CrisP has it - but the problem with Hillary is she's loved and hated with equal intensity.
