Got this on email today, for all those scratching their heads read here >
These men are installing and setting solid steel pillars in concrete to stop vehicles from parking on the pavement outside a building.
OK. They are cleaning up at the end of the day.
How long do you think it will be before they realize where their vehicle is parked?

and chances are at least one of the bollards will drop down flat to allow vehicles to access the front of the building, vehicles such as ambulances, builders vans, etc...

Sorry to put a spoiler on it, but it looks to me as though the first post at the bottom right has been photoshopped in. The paving doesn't match up and there is a softness around the pillar which shouldn't be there.

On flipside, I live near a local highstreet where something similar did happen.
A small square/paved garden area was due to have bollards installed to prevent cars parking in there (as local non-indiginous British were using it as a car park ).
Plenty of warning was given.
But one feejit didn't take heed (probably couldn't read English ) and left his car parked there...
...So along come council, puts up bollards and leaves. Car still parked and now trapped in the sqaure.
It was there for over a month until eventually it was removed with a hi-ab
