Cheapest way for Sky HD
I am in the process of moving back from the wilderness & i want sky hd in the "new" house.
Whats the cheapest way of getting this fitted, there is a satellite dish there already feeding a standard sky box, but i want the HD box in another room.
I have this all fitted in my other house at the moment but i got the electrician to install it all while rebuilding so i dont have a clue whats the best process.
I will be needing a new box as well.
Any ideas ?
Cheers

Cheapest way?
Do you already have a Sky account? If so call them and get Sky+ fitted for free. tell them you work late shift work and never in to see the programs you want. You don't need to push them too hard to get it free.
When the chap arrives to install the quad lmb thingy, ask him to run the new wires to where you want but keep the existing wire. Make sure you also keep the old box.
Put your Sky+ box on ebay and it should sell for around £90. Whilst on Ebay buy a HD box for about £150. Then ring sky and have your card paired to the new box.
You now have Sky HD for £60 and you have the choice of having multiroom using the original Sky box.
£10 for HD and £10 for Multiroom.
Only downside is you lose the warranty on the Sky+ box.

hmm. I tried the "I work shifts" tact, and they told me to get lost........ the only option left is to go through to the cancellations team and seriously look at Virgin Media.
Shame really.
