Letters of Iwo Jima
Just bought the above film and one of the guys in the office said I should watch "Flags of our fathers" first.
Is this true ???? Wouldn't want to spoil either one if its true.

Dont think it matters which you watch first, they were both filmed back to back and each film represents the story potrayed from both sides of the fence.
Flags of our fathers shows the story from the American point of view, and Letters of Iwo Jima vice versa.
Just as long as you watch both Im sure its fine

flags of our fathers was pretty poor to be honest......got lost in the sideline story of who raised the flag at iwo jima and cut too much away from the real action
suprisingly the letters from iwo jima that is in subtitles is by far the superior film.....doesnt stray too far from the real meat
