I spotted a photo of a regiment in a local Pub and it actually had my uncle in it.

My dad was made up to see it.. I would really love to get more photos or even that photo for him for Christmas !

Why dont you ask the landlord if you can borrow (might need to offer to leave a deposit) and get it scanned and reprinted?

Or offer the landlord cash for the photo, probably got a good chance of selling it to you unless the photo has somebody he knows well in it

Pimmo - try asking in the history section on British Army Rumour Service. There are some very knowledgeable people on there. It might also be worth getting in touch with the Royal Artillery Museum in Woolwich - they are pretty likely to have who-knows-how-many official and unofficial unit photographs in their archives: contact details at The Royal Artillery Museum - Firepower.
