Best phone/broadband suppliers?
seem to be a mine field out there, looking for the best internet then the rest is not so important (we both have and use mobiles)
so far sky seems to be comming out top, but mate gets stupid download rates on ntl aka virgin.
its for ilkeston, derby by the way
anyone got any bright ideas?

Personally I have gone over from BT to Orange recently, and find it ok 
£15 a month for the home phone and 8mb BB connection, attached to my mobile with Orange.
Was with BT for years, and a very good service too, just very expensive all in.

I've read recently Be are very good.
I might switch to them in the new year, as tiscali throttles the line (down to about 140Kb) during peak hours. After 11pm it picks up.
Currently paying £9.99 for a 2MB connection.
