Watching Vids through IPOD Nano??
I have got a few vids downloaded onto my Nano (which was a mission in itself TBH!! )
I bought myself one of these AV cables which plugs into the headphone socket, and then into the 3x RCA (White, Yellow, and Red) inputs on the telly.
Thinking this would allow me to watch the vids, and see pictures on my TV.
It doesn't work, due to the TV Out function on the Nano!!
What do I need to do, so I can view my pics/vids??

If I do that, it asks me to connect video accesory, (which I believe needs to have the multiplug type fitment)
All the adverts for these AV Cables say that they are compatible with the 3rd Gen Nano, but obviously they are not
been stitched up I fear

I've had a look at the Apple website for you, and it does appear that the 3G Nano, iPod Touch and iPod Classic all output video only from the 30 pin dock connector and not the headphone socket. Thus the cable you have won't work The previous generation iPod color and iPod with Video *did* use a cable similar to the one you have to output video via the headphone jack, plus there is a composite AV cable that will work with the old and new photo/video capable iPods, but it too uses the dock connector and not the headphone socket.
I'd say you'll be able to get a full refund or exchange for a cable that works as their advert is incorrect and the product is not fit for the use it was advertised for.

Yeah. I have that particular cable (from Apple, £35 or so), plugged into my double din head unit. Works spot on.
