The Torchwood website is back up and running today, new series starts in January BUT this time it's on BBC2

It was always repeated on BBC2: this time it will air on BBC2 first.

Series one started on bbc3, series 2 was on bbc2. I just wondered what the headbutt was for....

After such a great series 1 I just think its earned promotion up to the big league. Mind you with some of the subject matter perhaps it's best on BBC2

No there has only been the one. Its the second series that the BBC has just started to promote.

Some programs will always stay on BBC2, take Top Gear for example - Im sure it gets far more viewers than Torchwood :P

Top gear gets about 4.5 million viewers whereas Torchwood is about 2.5 million.

When it moves to BBC2 I would imagine Torchwood would get higher figures than TG.
