Someone on here reckons he has it on good authority that Clarkson is quitting, on other forums it's rumored to be Hammond with a possible Sky motoring show of his own being the reason.

I can see him becoming tired of it. Once the passion goes the show would go downhill quick, so maybe he's making a decision to quit whilst on top. Let's face it, he doesn't need the money.

yea i mean clarkson has been doing the show for years noww.dont think it would be him though has really..he is what makes top gear..i reckon it will be hammond..after that accident he had,hes had alot more popularity than before...but its just my thinking..jezza might have just decided to quit but i cant see it.my cousin knows jezza and i might be able to ask if he can give me any info..but dont know when he last spoke to him....

He has a subtle but incisive humour and if let loose would easily outwit Clarkson. I've always liked him, and prefer to read his column in TG magazine each month than JC's. Combined with RH's effervescent giddyness and JC's bumbling faux arrogance they really are a dream team for a blokes telly program. It will be a shame when they split or it all ends

Hammond is by the weakest of the 3. An annoying little idiot who has little to offer IMO.

Lol I was going to say the same thing, looks like his mid life crisis has kicked in early.

I find Hammond extremely annoying in a Davina McCall type way, irritating little sh*t's the pair of them, May and Clarkson are witty whereas I find Hammond thinks he's funny, maybe his script writer isn't as hot as May and Clarksons

It doesn't matter if it is May. May's excellent on TG, but equally watchable on his other stuff he does. Him and Oz in that camper van is classic TV. It would be a shame to lose May purely for the comedy aspect..he's just the straight man for JC & RH's gags & stunts.

Hammond's just there so bloke's wives have something to interest them while they endure Top Gear.

I really enjoyed watching May.... as others have said his wine show is a great watch and I really enjoy watching him on TG.... as Corradoboy stated, if he was allowed to cut loose, I am sure he would easily outwit JC.

Hammond isn't looking too well either to be honest

I think you're about right with that suggestion Pete. It doesn't matter which one is your fav; it is the interaction between them that has made the show so watchable. Clarkson doesn't have much else to go to to be honest. He's had his forays into other aspects of TV and only his TG fanbase has really followed him (even he jokes that he had to come crawling back to TG as he made a right **** up of the other stuff )

Hammond and May would be a little less agressive with their pay negotiations, as they have a much better deal on TG than either of them have had before and they aren't the icon that Jezza is (like him or loathe him).

I hope they all stay; it's a great show that I very much look forward to!
