In a similar vein to the curry thread I'm looking to try and find some super-sour sweets. A friend recently brought back some Warheads and Toxic Waste from America and I can't deny they had a reasonable kick, especially if you took more than one on at a time, but I'm looking for the next level.

I think ideally I need to find something that is made and sold in a non-litigious society where it may actually be harmful to your health to eat

Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can try next. Ideally something that can be bought in the UK or on the interwebby I'd prefer something that can actually fold my face inside out when I put the sweet in my mouth

but recently bought some haribo for zim gfriend on the premise that it means alright in shona etc ( soft ******) - and they were rejected for being a sour variety

Sour watermelons were my favourite sweets as a kid (they weren't very sour though tbf). I remember buying a whole box of 500 from the tuck shop at school once

I can't find them nowadays for a reasonable price. The only place i've seen them for sale is some website, but they wanted silly money!

Well I was going to Say "Toxic Waste" as I have some here that came from America and they are god awful, but if they aren' sour enough I don't know what is.

You cuold try salt rounds for their disgustingness - not sour, but very salty.

Coat some sweets in citric acid (powder). That'll give them a kick

TOXIC WASTE sweets are what you want, they even had a warning on the packet saying 'causes bleeding of the mouth' lol!

Cant beat sour sweets

It was Toxic Waste that I tried at the weekend. They were lovely but to really get a kick you had to load up more than one at a time. I was kind of hoping there was something above them - something of a seldom spoken of level of sourness only appreciated by sour sweet geeks

Try dipping them in battery acid or a little coating of blue Loctite ....
