paintwork cracked
hi , id like to know what you guys would do in this situation.
our main car (citroen picasso) had the very bottom of the drivers door bent back, like the corner of a page in a book
i bent it straight with some mole grips, and a tea towel, but the paint has a small crack in it, about 1cm long.
as far as i can find out the car is galvanized.
so, what if any rust will i get? and would you chip the remaining paint off as its a trap for water or would you just leave it?
any answers appreciated.

If in doubt spray some waxoyl on it, that'll get in the crevices and stop the rust.
Other than that, yes, fetch it back to bare metal, etch prime, paint, clear coat etc.
Personally, if you cant see it. just gunk some waxoyl on.
