bogus paypal payments warning
Peeps,
i have just recieved an email saying someone is trying to send me some money (80 euros) and to click on this link.
Online Payment, Merchant Account - PayPal
be aware, that while it might look like a legitimate link, paypal.com, in this instance is a subdomain of cmd-login.com, and it even looks like the paypal login (have a look for yourself)
do not under any circumstances login to this as god knows where your details will end up.
i have notified paypal
keep 'em peeled...

had one myself this morning, asked me to login as it had a pending payment of 85 euros.
looked a really convincing site, but when it asked me to log in i smelt a rat

no worries, yes fozzie, the very same.
the domain was registered on the 17 / 11 in the US
its just with so many people trading loads of stuff on ebay, its easily overlooked.
hopefully paypal will act quickly....before someone has a bad xmas!!!!

Everytime you get a link like that just look in the bottom left as to the exact address its linking you too. You'll soon know if its legit or not.
