Nokia N95 users.... do you have these on...
It seems a frenzy has begun as users discover the accelerometer inside the Nokia N95.
Its quite a handy piece of kit once activated, and allows you to use apps like the training recorder, to record and calculate activity and exercise, as well as other toys like Bouncing Ball, Accelerometer Space Invaders, and the infamous light sabre (which is a good lauch)
Soon also to be released, Rotate Me, which can mimick the automatic rotation of the screen as you turn the phone. The same gimmick that brough so much attention to the iPhone.
So does anyone else have any of these things on their phone, or want them for this matter.

Fabled? Whys it fabled mate?
If you want me to mail the apps over to you to try, I would be more than happy to.
In the meantime... Video: Nokia N95 Accelerometer Demonstration at the Nokia blog
In fact, find the zip of the activation for the accelerometer attached, along with accelerometer invaders too.

Enjoy mate. They are nothing spectacular, but a bit of fun. However, more useful apps coming out now. Like Rotate Me
The lightsabre is too large to upload here, but I believe can be found as an attachment on my forum, or here.... Zoe and Graham

I got an N95 a few weeks ago so will be downloading from the links above
I also have the bouncey ball and the inclinometer (it tells how much of an angle your 4x4 is at so you don't tip it over), also loads of other apps at Freeware for Symbian phone, SymbianOS s60, s80, UIQ free downloads.
Windyboy.

Yup as above. Assuming you have Nokia PC Suite installed on your PC.
Unzip the files to say your desktop, plug your phone in. Start PC Suite, click install applications. Browse the location you have stored the unzipped files.
Highlight the file you want and click the right arrow (or double click the file)
The phone will ask you to authorise it and a few other questions.... then voila.
The newly installed apps will be in your apps folder from the main menu.

Have you installed the accelerometer?
When you move the phone about like a light sabre it will mimick the swooshing noises of a light sabre in the movies lol

PC suite makes it a lot easier mate. Its not a massive program, but great for backing your phone up, and other bits
Bootsie, thats wierd mate. Download the latest one, the newest date on the page. Is it just refusing to install at all, or something else ?

So you dont get the front screen up prompting you to press fire or slide open to start ?
Not heard of anyone else having these probs.
Can only assume its firmware or something.
