Only last week it was in the press that a Russian woman came to Britain to give birth to her 5 kids.
Did the NHS charge her? No.
Did the British Tax payer pay for her health care? Yes.
No doubt as her children were born here, our Government will treat them as British Citizens and therfore GIVE her a FREE HOUSE here in Britain. She has no job here, so FREE MONEY too.

Shame Britain doesn't take the same kind of stand.

5. Will a child who is born in the United Kingdom on or after 1 January 1983 be a British citizen? (see Chart A)
A child will be a British citizen when he or she is born if one of his or her parents (see Note 4) is:
* a British citizen (it does not matter how the parent concerned became a British citizen), or
* settled here (see Note 5)
If neither of the child’s parents is a British citizen or settled in the United Kingdom, then the child will not be a British citizen when he or she is born.

BBC NEWS | Health | UK-born quintuplets 'doing well'
Try reading this sentence for instance:
"All the medical costs have been met by a group of Russian philanthropists."

What a load of utter tosh. Still why let the facts get in the way of another set of Daily Mail style soundbites designed to get the SN NSR 'everything is the government's fault' brigade frothing at the mouth?

I must admit I did only see the highlights on the News. Didn't see the whole story, so I do stand corrected.
My assumtions were based on the current state of how this country is run. You can't blame me for that.

Corrected.
Trouble is, that most people don't bother to actually find out the facts of a story and just blindy believe what they are told. As this story along with the "£100Million mega mosque" and the "Red Arrows not to fly at Olympic opening" stories testify.
In essence, people will believe any old ****, especially if it falls into line with your political persuations
In any event, it doesn't excuse making up that these kids were born at tax payers expense. You assumed that this was the case, and got found out. Good. If only more people actually looked into stories like this, then the country would be a much better place.

No, the Government have outlawed this.
I mean obviously the first thing you do , when organising the olympics, is to arrange the closing ceremony. I mean forget the massive infrastructure change needed, the stadium, the transport, the accomodation, the jobs, the civil engineering, no, the most important thing is to sort out the closing ceremony. And specifically to rule out the red arrows. I mean no other particulars of the closing ceremony have been arranged, just the fact that no way will the Red Arrows be there.
I think I would probably do the human race a favour and kill myself if I swallowed this story, I would obviously be too thick to cope on my own and just be a drain on resources.
The best thing about it was the amount of people here that proudly boasted Signed in the petition thread that was on here.
When the truth is, they may as well have written I'm a gullible fool instead

I applaud the NZ government's motives but they are using very primitive measurement for exclusion. What next? Sheridan is denied a visa because his BMI doesn't fall into the right area - God knows the All Blacks could do with someone who doesn't choke come the world cup.
