Default What phone for my auld granny?

What phone should I buy my gran for her xmas?

She doesn't need fancy cameras or bluetooth, something with reasonably big buttons that she can keep handy when she's out and about for emergencies.

She doesn't even need something with a texting capability - just something for making and receiving calls.

Also - prefer it to be brand-new. I don't want to be buying her something 2nd hand as a christmas present!

Cheers

any nokia 11xx or one of these beasts

no point getting features she won't use or making it awkward so it doesn't actually get used.

They are quite expensive aren't they? I got a simple mobile for my friend - she's not into technology at all - it's a Nokia of some sort and is very easy to use. Cost me £20 on O2 upgrade - list price was £39.99 plus you had to buy £10 of credit. Because it was an upgrade it was alot cheaper!
