the Moon this morning
Was a clear as anything this morning
Skies were very blue, Sun was shining and the moon was in full view, looked pretty damn impressive, sadly didnt have time to take a few shots
Is this a normal (ish) occurrence of the moon being so visible in the morning hours

Saw the moon though our new spotting scope the other night. WOW those craters are a sight to behold. Felt like we could just reach up and touch it.

I think it's definitely best when seen in the early morning against a blue in it's gibbous phase. It looks so unreal like that, especially as it looks spherical rather than the usual disk when full.
