Did you all find tonights Driven as interesting as I did. All those wonderfull roads to drive on and they managed to pick three slow, slow, slow motors. Exciting tests though eh? Cobbled roads at 5mph etc

i thought it was feeble. take 3 hairdresser cars, ponce through the french countryside saying how cheap the hotels are, and then decide the hatchback is the best car to do the journey in
pathetic, absolutely pathetic. i REALLY wish j clarkson was back on motoring programs

Any suggestions for next weeks show? How about three micro scooters through a selection of busy high streets? Or how about a show on which is better to drive in, these slippers, or these open toed sandals.

It's a shame that we don't know where they film thes progs, it would be good fun for about 30 Scoobs to fly past as they waffle on about the quality of the roof lining.

OMG - indeed - what utter dross!
30 mins looking at the same damn 3 cars. They have BTCC driver Jason Plato in a hair dressers car "pretending" he cant catch the other two in their crappy little alfa and mini - my ****!
Who cares about a cup of bloody water spilling ffs!
The funniest thing in the whole programme was when Mike reversed the mini into something and broke the mini headlight by closing the bonnet (nice build quality) - fair play he didnt even bat an eyelid.
Please can we go back to JC's humour and exubarance mixed with Tiffs sideways antics in anything he drives (but better when its a scoob, evo or m3)?

"Ok Penny so what did you think of the Daewoo Matiz ?"
"Well it's slow and handles like a wheel barrow full of manure! we'll give it 19 points."
"So Jason what did you think of the new 911 Carerra 4S ?"
"Superb, excellent roadholding easy to drive fast loads of feedback even on the limits. Great car to drive. Better than the Daewoo. We'll give it 20 points."
"Now points for cost of ownership"
"The Daewoo it's cheap, but not even cheerful 20 points"
"The Porsche it's fast, it's fun it cost's a fortune only 17 points"
"So there you have it the Daewoo wins!"
I've given up watching this program, they are puppets. Sure JP is a brilliant driver but just whoose views are they trying to put across.
Who cares how easy it is to park a Ferrari ?
If I could buy a new one I'd have a garage bigger than my house just for the car.
What a pile of sh1te !

Thanks for that, I made a judgement call and watched Raiders of The Lost Ark.
Why cant they make a car programme for people who like cars, not for those who want a shopping car, nobody in their right mind gives a toss about a Daewoo Matiz

It's the same old story, the best never wins anything, coz it's too expensive to buy, and too expensive to run in comparison to anything else being tested. Same with Hi-Fi systems, which one is best the one at £200 with tape, multi cd and radio or the one a £50k, that only plays one CD?

Glad I missed it.
Would love to see a JC and Tiff program. JC always had me in fits, even his talk show type thing was funny.
Another thing that amuses me is AutoExpress, they test the Evo 7 or 550 Maranello etc in the plus box the put acceleration and in the minus box they put fuel consumption????????
Hellllloooo, Planet earth calling AE, do they really expect storming accel times with 100mpg diesel economy. WTF! Never ceases to amaze me.
