ok - bought a house (always been in a flat), so i need buildings insurance

fingers on the buzzers, where's the best place to go ???

I think I know someone.......apparantly theres someone on here that deals in insurance....and has some quite good rates ...maybe give him a ring...

Personally, I found Halifax by far the most competitive for me...

Nothing major, but a 4 bed victorian house in low risk outer bristol, couple of major items declared, 3 years no claims, £220 buildings and unlimited content cover. I understand buildings was about £120 of quote... Anyway tesco/dl and half a dozen others were all over £300, mostly around £400...

its a done deal i'm afraid

oh well - i'll be looking to change my contents insurance after i move, so i'll give you a shout then
