Legal Question regarding Blockbusters
I have an account with said Video shop and my bother has always used my card to get films.. Never late no problem.. in fact I think they think hes me.
Anyway... his friend decided to get some DVDs out after my bro left for Lanzerote... and as yet there is no sign of them..
What do I do ?

Was his friend an authorised user on the account?
If so, you've got to pay. If not, tell them its nothing to do with you and you suggest they don't consider harassing, or you'll get the Police involved.
Edit - If you have loaned the card to him, then its your responsibility.

Basically I found out about my bro using it when I asked where he got the DVDs a year or so back.. he never caused me any problems and I know where he lives
so I ignored it.. aint used the account myself for a long time.

Don't forget, the 'debt collection agency' they send after you is just them with a jazzed up letter head. I know 
I left a DVD in my car when it blew up and it was, shall we say, a little late by the time it could have been returned. To the point where I thought, **** it, they've forgotten. When I rang and paid them, the guy started offering me deals on new releases!
Never admit to knowing someone else used your account. They'll have you legally then.
